Here's what MCN has in today's paper:
"Aprilia's future still hangs in the balance as its creditors negotiate the sale of the entire company, which has hit huge financial problems following the collapse of the Italian scooter market.
However, with several companies showing interest in taking over the firm, Aprilia is likely to be around for the foreseeable future.
Last month Aprilia founder Ivano Baggio was ousted from the company he set up, and replaced by Franco Cattaneo, appointed by Aprilia's banks to run the firm until a buyer is found.
Claudio Braglia, editor of Italian bike magazine Moto World said: 'It is very sad that the banks have decided to get rid of Ivano Beggio. It may not have been going well for Aprilia recently, but he made Aprilia a great success and should at least be able to hold an honorary position in the company'.
Production is underway at the Noale factory and Aprilia is still developing new machines, including its radical V-twin motocross and supermoto bikes."
Any comments?

In Aprile The factory was closed ... now they are working.
And you can find again the Aprilia pieces
We think it is going better ......
And Aprilia will give us the ticket to enter to the show Motorcycle in Monaco next September.
Slowly but Aprilia is growing again.

Makis,
these are, let's say, old news...
Than, about the future, we hear rumors for the new probable buyers...
names that were told are Rotax/Bombardier, Piaggio, BMW, Ducati is interested in Moto Guzzi brand...
I guess we should wait at least till Intermot fair, after vacation time...
Anyway, I agree with the Italian journalist, Ivano Beggio was leading and giving a "shape" to this brand...
now we hope the successors will be able to do the same for the future!!!

Old news are still news for us here !!!
I try to follow the other forums but I still need a lot of practice in my Italian
So if any of you knows anything new it would be very nice if you could post it here
Anyway, i hope it's not BMW because i don't like UGLY bikes!!!
Question1: When I visited the Aprilia factory in Noale last year next to the shop was a house. In the doorbell it had the name 'Ivano Beggio' !! Does he really live there?
